The target audience for a Master of Arts (MA) in Management and Global Business is usually individuals who aspire to careers in international business, cross-cultural management, or global leadership. This program is suitable for individuals who seek to understand the complexities of managing businesses and organisations in a global context, and desire to develop the skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing and interconnected business world. This program is targeted for students who have completed an MQF Level 6 qualification in a business related subject and wish to continue their education track and gain an MQF Level 7 qualification in International Management and Global Business. The program is also targeted to students who have an MQF Level 6 qualification in a non-business related subject, but have proven work experience in an international organisation (for a minimum of 5 years) and wish to develop their knowledge further in hopes of advancing their careers.
Programme Outcomes
- By enrolling in this program, students will gain advanced knowledge in the field of international management and global business, including cross-cultural management, international marketing, global strategy and international trade.
- Students will gain an understanding of how to manage and operate a business globally, including how to navigate cultural differences, regulations and other challenges that arise in a global context.
- In addition, students will be exposed to current trends and best practices in international management and global business, which can be used to improve organisational performance in a global context.
- This program will prepare students for a career in international management and global business in a variety of industries such as consulting, finance, marketing, trade and others.
- Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in business, administration, commerce, sciences, finance, management, human resources, retail or a related field
- Minimum 180 ECTS at MQF Level 6 previously acquired at a Higher Education institution
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- A minimum of one year of work experience in a business environment will be considered as an asset
